Oslo-listed Norway Royal Salmon reported a year-on-year drop in its earnings but said Tuesday it was the second-highest quarterly operational earnings, before interest and taxes (EBIT) in the group's history.
EBIT came in at NOK 136 million (€14.6 million/$17.2 million), which, however, dropped 19 percent from NOK 168 million (€18.1 million/$21.3 million) last year. EBIT per kilogram increased from NOK 25.33 (€2.70/$3.20) to NOK 30.17 (€3.20/$3.80) year-on-year.
