Chilean salmon farmer Los Fiordos has made an offer to acquire the operations of Salmones Friosur, Piscicola Hornopiren and Salmones Frioaysen for around $229 million (€196.5 million).
The company said the transaction, the price of which is still subject to biomass adjustment, includes the fish farm in Hornopiren with 40 concessions distributed primarily in the Region de Aysen.
It also includes all the activities associated with the production, the respective biomass, and the continued labor of those involved with the operation.
