Oslo-listed Leroy Seafood announced a 5 percent uptick in salmon and trout harvests across its operations in the second quarter, according to a trading update on Tuesday.

The company harvested 38,900 metric tons of salmon and trout in its Aurora, Midt and Sjotroll operations combined.

Leroy's whitefish subsidiary Havfisk caught 19,700 metric tons -- 24 percent more fish compared to the same quarter last year, with 11 percent being cod.
