Aker BioMarine, the krill harvesting and processing giant run by Norwegian magnate Kjell Inge Rokke, intends offering up to 18.5 million shares in a private placement ahead of listing on Oslo Stock's Exchange alternative Merkur Market, the company announced June 19.

The krill harvester has plans to strengthen its balance sheet, increase flexibility for growth investments and general corporate purposes through the raised capital.
