Chinese shrimp giant Zhanjiang Guolian Aquatic Products entered an agreement to build a CNY 2 billion ($282 million/€258 million) offshore aquaculture project in Xuwen, China, the company announced to investors in a Shenzhen Stock Exchange notification.

The investment will be made over a span of five years and includes deepwater cage construction, breeding and hatchery facilities, feed plants, processing and research centers.
