UK-based shrimp processor The Big Prawn Co. continues to see its turnover and profit “eroded," a situation the company is placing firmly at the feet of Brexit.

For the year ending May 31, 2018, the company saw turnover slow to nearly £36 million (€41.8 million/$47 million), down 4.3 percent compared with £37.6 million (€43.6 million/$49.1 million) in 2017, “which reflects the difficulties being experienced in retail,” it said.

"There has been erosion of profit as turnover has slowed," the company said.
