The share price of land-based salmon producer Atlantic Sapphire headed southwards on Thursday morning after witnessing a short-lived recovery on Wednesday evening.

At the close of the Olso Stock Exchange Thursday, the share price of Atlantic Sapphire had fallen just over 3 percent since from Wednesday close of NOK 44.85 (€4.51/$5.21).

"It probably has something to do with the news that the fish has been taken out of the Giant Eagle retail chain, in addition to the stock rising 20 percent yesterday," Christian Olsen Nordby, an analyst at Kepler Cheuvreux told IntraFish.
