Knut Nesse first worked with fish feed giant and Nutreco subsidiary Skretting in 1986, taking a summer job during his years of military service. It made an impression, and nine years later, Nesse began a full-time, 23-year journey with Nutreco that would end with a six-year tenure as CEO of the Dutch giant.
“It’s been a fascinating journey,” he told IntraFishshortly after announcing he will step down as Nutreco CEO in October.
During these years, Nesse has seen the aquaculture sector evolve and become a crucial part in the development of the global food industry.
