An unnamed Norwegian firm is planning to build a land-based salmon farm by the O Berbes industrial estate in Burela, Spain, El Progreso reported.
The 25,000-square-meter facility will cost between €36 million ($42 million) and €40 million ($47 million), with the capacity to produce 3,000 metric tons per year.
The area's mayor, Alfred Llano, projected the facility will go live in July 2021.
