Thai food giant CP Foods reduced its water withdrawal by 36 percent per unit in 2020 compared to 2015, with 42 percent of its water reused or recycled as part of ramped up efforts to operate a more sustainable, circular economy.

These efforts are particularly focused on the company's aquaculture operations, with water resources significant to the continuing operations of the company's integrated agro-industrial and food business, said CP Foods Executive Vice President for aquaculture Pairoj Apiruknusit.
