Norwegian salmon and whitefish giant Leroy Seafood Group saw its harvest volumes from both its aquaculture and wild-harvest operations drop in the second quarter of 2021.

Overall harvest from its salmon and trout operations fell 6 percent to 36,700 metric tons in the quarter, while the catch volumes form its wild-fish arm, Havfisk, fell 17 percent to 16,300 metric tons.

Harvest volumes from the company's Leroy Aurora operations reached 5,200 metric tons -- up 41 percent on the same period a year ago.
