New Zealand King Salmon (NZKS) is about to enter its third "nightmare" summer in a row, with another marine heat wave predicted. But interim CEO Graeme Tregidga is tentatively confident that changes made over the last year will help the company weather the hot summer.

The last two years have wreaked havoc on the country's largest salmon farmer. It entered the pandemic on already shaky footing, with sales taking a hit from a grim summer in its 2019 financial year.
