Black tiger production in Kerala, India, grew last year after more than 10 years of decreased production, reports The Hindu.
The rise was driven by a Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) initiative launched last year.
MPEDA supplied black tiger shrimp seed from its aquaculture complex to Kerala's progressive shrimp farmers back in February.
