AquaChile is selling its 50 percent stake in Chilean feed company Alitec Pargua for $17 million (€15 million) to BioMar, the company said.
AquaChile and BioMar have jointly ran the feed producer since 2007 under an agreement by which 50 percent of the feed went to AquaChile, and the other 50 percent was sold by BioMar to other farmers in the country.
Alitec Pargua produces around 120,000 metric tons of salmon feed a year and is the main feed supplier to AquaChile.
