Chilean salmon farmer AquaChile obtained the Best Aquaculture Practice (BAP) certification at its Punta Vergara farm site in Magallanes.
This is the first of AquaChile’s sites in Magallanes to obtain the certification.
“We are very pleased with this certification. It reflects the work and the commitment of our company to sustainability and good practices,” said Jose Manuel Schwerter, production manager with AquaChile.
