Akva's salmon farming joint venture, Atlantis Subsea Farming, will not appeal a decision by the Norwegian Directorate of Fisheries to award it just one out of the six development licenses it applied for originally.

Atlantis Subsea Farming (ASF), is the offshore salmon farming arm founded by Akva, Egersund Net and Sinkaberg & Hansen.

The company applied for six development licenses on Jan. 29, 2016, but later that year the directorate said it would go ahead with processing the application limited to two licenses, rejecting the other four.
