US processor and distributor, Raw Seafoods Inc, is joining the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative’s (GSSI) Global Partnership as a Funding Partner.
The company processes, packages, freezes, and distributes fresh and frozen seafood products to foodservice, wholesale, and retail customers in the United States.
Raw Seafoods’ facility in Massachusetts is certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC).
"We believe that GSSI’s efforts to create a global partnership, to not only improve and sustain our natural resources, but also create a trust with our customers when it comes to purchasing and consuming seafood is extremely important to all parties in the seafood supply chain," said Scott Hutchens, vice president at Raw Seafoods.
