This year Trident Seafoods is placing all of its bets on its new protein noodles, said John Salle, the company's senior vice president of marketing and innovation.

"That's our big focus," he told IntraFish, noting the Trident booth at Seafood Expo North America (SENA) this year is fully devoted to the launch of the company's "10g Protein Noodle."

"We've got that product in a form for all channels, and that's where we're placing all of our chips this year," he said.
