After several straight weeks of falling, Chilean salmon prices rose slightly last week, according to SalmonEx.
Prices of average D Trim wholesale into the US market rose $0.02 to $3.54 (€3.14) per pound, back to the same price as two weeks ago.
The price of frozen H&G Chilean coho sizes 4-6 into Japan stayed flat for yet another week at JPY 665 (€5.52/$4.90) and trout into Japan also stayed unchanged at JPY 660 (€5.48/$4.87) per kilo.
Norwegian salmon prices are expected to be up by between NOK 3 (€0.32/$0.36)
