French shipbuilder Piriou has delivered an eighth tuna vessel to Sapmer, the latest in a series of innovative purse seiners designed to ultra-freeze catches at sea for the loin market.
The new Morn Seselwa was built at the company’s Vietnamese subsidiary, SEAS, and will be based at Mahé in the Seychelles to fish primarily in the Indian Ocean, with the option of operating in the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans if required.
