How do we engage consumers to encourage them to eat more seafood? What information do we give them?

These are a couple of the questions that were on the mind of Kim Gorton, CEO of seafood supplier Slade Gorton, during the January Global Seafood Marketing Conference in San Francisco.

"We really have to take an aggressive and proactive approach to sharing the right information and not letting the media or other outlets really control the message to the consuming public," Gorton said.
