As Maine fishermen get ready for this year's lobster season, many in the industry feel the pressure of getting enough supply to meet demand, particularly growing interest from Asia.
Of the 130 million pounds of Maine lobster landed last year, about 25 million pounds were exported. Of the exported total, about 10 million went to China, said Maine Lobster Marketing Collaborative Executive Director Matt Jacobson.
