Legal Sea Foods to debut new TV ad ahead of Clinton-Trump debate

Also asks people to watch debates.

After Boston-based restaurant group Legal Sea Foods' Roger Berkowitz suspended his faux presidential bid, the company announced Friday a series of ads urging people to watch the debates and to out and vote.

The new campaign will air right before Monday's debate in print and on TV.

It says "pay close attention to the presidential debate and vote wisely. Because unlike a bad fish, you can't throw a president back."

"We had fun – and caused a little controversy with our 'presidential' campaign earlier this year," said Legal Sea Foods CEO Berkowitz.

"But now it's time to get serious about this important civic duty. We hope the upcoming debates are enlightening and that they inspire more people to vote in November."

Earlier this year, Legal debuted a parody series of "Berkowitz for President" ads to resemble a typical political campaign, but faced some criticism.
