Lidl to join Seafish Seafood Week promotion

Discount retailer to push UK consumers to up their fish intake.

Germany-based retailer Lidl is the latest to join in UK Seafish Authority's Seafood Week campaign, which will launch next Friday.

The discount retailer joins UK supermarket Morrisons, Hilton Worldwide and Seachill-owned Saucy Fish Co. in the campaign. It's the first time Lidl has worked with Seafish on Seafood Week.

Seafish provides its campaign partners with marketing materials including advice on generating promotional media.

This is the third year Seafish has run Seafood Week.
