Captain D's expands with nine new restaurants

The chain has partnered with a development firm in Florida.

US fast-casual seafood chain Captain D's has signed a franchise development agreement to expand its presence in Florida with nine new restaurants, the company said.

Captain D's, thanks to its alliance with development firm American Development Partners (ADP), is bringing the restaurants to the greater Tampa area in southern Florida.

Captain D's has had six consecutive year of same-store sales increases.

"At Captain D's, supporting both new and existing franchisees is a top priority and our alliance with ADP is a reflection of our commitment to them," said Michael Arrowsmith, chief development officer of Captain D's. "Our ongoing success has established Captain D's as one of the strongest franchising opportunities in the industry today and contributed to our expansion nationwide."

Captain D's has 521 restaurants in 21 states.
