Camanchaca, Krustagroup JV expands into Europe

Spanish group will have exclusivity to offer Camanchaca's products in Spain, Portugal and Italy.

Chilean producer Camanchaca and Spanish processor Krustagroup signed a new collaboration agreement for the exclusive distribution of the former’s mussels, salmon and Argentine red shrimp in Europe through Krustagroup’s sales arm.

Both companies announced at Boston they were joining forces in the United States under a new commercial agreement for the sale of their products through Camanchaca’s Miami-headquartered operations.

With the new agreement, Krustagroup will distribute Camanchaca’s products in Spain, Italy and Portugal, under the Pier 33 Gourmet by Krustagroup brand, which will be officially launched in Europe at the Brussels seafood show next week.
