Iberconsa’s fishing trawler Bogavante Segundo began a shrimp biomass survey in the Gulf of San Jorge and the coast of Chubut, reports El Diario de Madryn.
The vessel sailed on the exploratory cruise on March 9, in collaboration with the National Institute of Research and Fisheries Development (Inidep), as the Inidep's exploratory vessel Oca Balda presented some technical problems.
The biomass study is backed and financially supported by 19 Argentinean companies including Conarpesa, Iberconsa, Argenova and Pescapuerta.
