Norwegian salmon exporter sees big sales, earnings jump

Its turnover was up 25% year-on-year.
Trondheim-based salmon exporter Gaia Seafood reported improved profits, increased revenue and earnings for 2016.
The company's exports brought in NOK 196.4 million (€20.5 million/$23.3 million) in revenue, an increase of 25 percent from the previous year.
Operating profit rose by 200 percent and its year-end balance sheet was NOK 32 million (€3.3 million/$3.8 million). Of this, equity was NOK 8.3 million (€864,500/$984,200).
