Thiraphong Chansiri, president of Thai Union Frozen Products, was named IntraFish Media's 2012 Person of the Year on Wednesday.
The award was presented to Chansiri at the IntraFish Seafood Leadership Luncheon in Brussels.
Chansiri was recognized for his leadership of the largest seafood company in the world outside of Japan. His slow, patient approach to growth is a model for building a successful international seafood company.
