Seafood investment forum draws crowd
A broad range of top seafood and finance execs mingled at IntraFish New York investment forum.
The IntraFish Media Seafood Investment Forum in New York City drew a unique mix of industry members and financial executives on Tuesday, as investor interest in the seafood industry reaches a fever pitch.
Some 180 attendees joined the forum in New York Tuesday, in an event co-sponsored by Arctic Securities and Paine + Partners, with support from Fish Pool.
"The turnout demonstrated the massive investor interest in this sector right now," said IntraFish Media Publisher Paal Korneliussen. "It is an exciting time in this industry, and IntraFish is excited to be at the center of it."
Executives from a range of seafood companies and financial institutions were on-hand, with several joining for four panels covering the wild catch, aquaculture, seafood and finance arenas.
