IntraFish catches up with Diogo Thomaz, co-founder of Aquanetix, an information management tool for aquaculture companies.
Using third party software, the system includes an app allowing workers to input data on feeding, temperatures and other parameters and using inbuilt algorithms, the software creates a report to give feedback on whether the fish is being fed efficiently, what parameters need adjustment and accurately estimating biomass -- an asset Thomasz believes is a first for aquaculture technology.
