This video introduces us to the European AquaSpace project, with interviews from the kick-off meeting in Oban this year.
The central goal of the AquaSpace project is to provide increased space for high water quality for aquaculture by adopting the Ecosystem Approach to Aquaculture (EAA) and Marine Spatial Planning (MSP) to deliver food security and increased employment opportunities through economic growth.
The research leading to these results has been undertaken as part of the AquaSpace project, Ecosystem Approach to making Space for Aquaculture, and has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Framework Program for Research and Innovation.
