The closure of a government-run economic stimulus program in Kenya, left the country’s aquaculture industry struggling for quality fingerlings and feed, leading to the near collapse of the sector.
So in partnership with tilapia grower Dominion Farms, the Kenya Markets Trust kicked off a new initiative to bring back supply and provide training as part of a new co-operative, to the benefit of the entire industry.
