Australian aquaculture to hit $1.6 billion in a decade

This is the aim of the government's national aquaculture strategy.

Australia’s aquaculture industry is predicted to double its value to AUD 2 billion ($1.6 billion/€1.3 billion) in the next 10 years, reports Dynamic Export.

Assistant Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources Anne Ruston said the strategy outlined a sustainable pathway to industry growth in response to increasing demand for safe, clean and green Australian seafood.
